Gabe Gavin

Yoga found me in approximately 2003.  I first attempted asana through a home video experience.  I could not walk for a week and swore yoga off, as I “was not flexible enough” to do this type of exercise, and thought it was way too hard.  I did a “home practice” for a few years, on and off.  I then attended my first official yoga class outside of the house with and I was hooked immediately, more so because of the mental effect the practice had on myself.  I found yoga helped me think more clearly and contemplate things in other ways.  I broke my foot and a regular heated practice helped heal the foot quicker than expected.  I left the world of “cube farms”, to pursue a deeper understanding of Yoga through the IVY 200 hour program, being in a fortunate time and situation in my life and now enjoy the 300 hr TT program.
