Adabelle: Yoga and Zumba®
Adabelle fell in love with yoga when she took her first class in a community recreation center ten years ago. Her body felt different, she could breathe easier, and she felt a sweet comfort when leaving class. She knew she had to spread her enthusiasm for yoga!
She is 500-hr Master yoga teacher and has been teaching yoga for six years. Academically, she has a strong science foundation in the field of human nutrition; Adabelle is currently pursuing her Masters of Oriental Medicine. The four-year degree program will license her to practice acupuncture, herbal medicine, and Oriental bodywork.
For fun, Adabelle loves to dance! After getting Zumba® certified in 2008, she has been teaching this Latin dance inspired workout for two years. She feels that yoga and Zumba® go hand in hand because they are both fun and inspiring ways to stay in shape, be happy, and feel good about yourself.
Alexis: Pilates, Pilates Reformer
Alexis, an Arizona native, has enjoyed a lifetime of involvement in sports and exercise. While studying Recreation Management at ASU, she began teaching group exercise classes at a local gym. It was at that time that she was introduced to pilates, over 8 years ago, and she was immediately impressed by the way it made her body feel and look. Alexis decided to further pursue her interest in pilates by becoming a certified instructor.
Alexis received her mat and reformer pilates training and certification through Stott Pilates, and after graduating from ASU decided to start teaching full time. Alexis enjoys sharing her passion for pilates with her students and helping them reach their desired fitness levels. Her encouraging style is wonderful!
Ana: Yoga
Ana was born and raised in Costa Rica. She has been practicing yoga for over a dozen years. Her strong love of yoga helped motivate her to complete her yoga teacher certification. She enjoys teaching the world about the wonders and benefits of yoga. Her sunny disposition is a delight!
Donna: Yoga
Donna fell in love with and has been a student of yoga since 2003. She has earned her 200-hour and 500-hour yoga teacher certifications. Donna's love of asana and the experience of the profound healing and energetic effects of yoga ground her teaching and her life. Donna's classes accentuate building strength, concentration, grace, and ease to enhance personal awareness and promote self-discovery and personal growth. She has studied extensively on the benefits of healing through yoga. Donna's classes are uplifting, unique, and inspiring.
Erica: Yoga
Erica has been studying and practicing yoga since 1995. She has practiced and studied with many master level instructors and has a wealth of information to share with her students. Her classes are fun and inspiring. Her philosophy is smile, laugh, breathe, and have fun- - that’s yoga!
Gabe: Yoga
To Gabe, yoga was a life changing and altering experience. Gabe first tried yoga in 2002 and finally had the courage to attend a formal class in 2006. After just a few formal classes, he was hooked. In 2008, Gabe decided to leave the corporate world and complete his 200 hour teacher training program. He is currently loving his Master's program.
Gabe offers a variety of classes, making every one of them different each time. Students can expect to see asanas (poses) demonstrated and gentler versions of poses offered with each class. After taking Gabe's classes, students can expect to feel rejuvenated and awakened.
Gabe prescribes to the ideas of the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, and believes in a nice asana practice to get in touch with one's inner spirit. Gabe's music contains a mix of traditional upbeat Pop and Rock, mixed with some more traditional Eastern music. In Gabe's words, "I believe the students in my classes will play an important role in my becoming the best instructor I can be. I see students as the reason we're able to share and inspire yoga." Jennie: Yoga
Jennie has been practicing yoga for over ten years, studying a variety of yoga styles. Jennie also holds certificates in pre-natal yoga, yoga therapy, and mat pilates. She feels yoga is more than a physical practice; it's a way of life, a journey, and a continuous learning experience that fosters awareness and brings balance and harmony. She enjoys sharing her passion for yoga with others.
Julia: Yoga, Cardio & Sculpt; Gentle Yoga; Family Yoga; Prenatal/Postnatal Yoga
Julia inspires and motivates students by giving them practical tools so they can begin to feel happier and be healthier. She is a 5,000 hour certified yoga instructor and is an E-RYT with Yoga Alliance. She is a certified fitness instructor through Aerobics and Fitness Association of America and certified personal trainer from the prestigious American College of Sports Medicine. Julia believes in the power of combining the best of Eastern philosophy with Western training to help her students and clients achieve optimum physical and spiritual health.
Julia’s realistic version of holistic living includes raising three athletic sons while maintaining a busy schedule teaching, coaching, writing and speaking on living life at your physical and spiritual best. Her life philosophy is: “Ask for what you want and be prepared to get it”. You'll love her classes!
Julie: Pilates Basics, Yoga Basics, Pajama Yoga
Julie's daily yoga/pilates practice and her background as a Montessori teacher and birth doula combine to create a peaceful woman who is present, patient, and balanced...exactly the person we need at the studio! She is a very proud mom of two amazing young yogis. Julie easily shares her warmth and enthusiasm with everyone she meets. Her positive attitude is contagious!
Katherine: Cardio Kickboxing, Indoor Fit-Camp
Katherine loves people and learning. She has a bachelor’s degree in Health Science, is an ACE certified personal trainer, and has certifications to teach cardio kickboxing, yoga, and PIYO, a pilates/yoga fusion class.
Most of her five years in the fitness industry has been spent helping women get in shape. She is currently enrolled at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine studying to become a naturopathic physician.
She loves taking a wholistic approach to all types of training and tries to make every work out enjoyable and functional. In her free time, she loves to dance, lift weights, discuss philosophy, and travel. She has been to over a dozen countries and explored natural healing modalities in many of them. Her motto is “I love life!"
Lisa K: Zumba®
Born and raised in Indiana, Lisa took her first dance job at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando,Fla. Her love and passion for dance has taken her around the world dancing on cruise lines and acting in Films and Commercials. Lisa continues to share her love for dance through Zumba® . She is certified in Zumba® , Zumbatomic® (Kids Zumba) and Aqua Zumba® . Lisa is also AFAA certified.
Mary: Relax & Renew Yoga, Gentle Flow Yoga
From the beginning, yoga captivated Mary's every sense! It was through yoga that she learned to relax, slow down and take notice of the world around her, to appreciate all that has been given to her and to look at life with acceptance and serenity. Mary has her 200-hour teacher certification. In addition to learning the yoga principles and philosophies of both Anusara Yoga and ParaYoga®, studies included anatomy, yoga therapy, meditation, Kirtan chanting, the chakras, Ayurvedic diet & nutrition, as well as Yoga Nidra.
Her personal teaching philosophy is that yoga is for everyone! Her passion is to share the benefits of yoga with all who may find themselves intimidated by yoga. There is no need to be a pretzel! For in yoga, we come to our practice as we are and we allow our inner beauty to unfold. Yoga is a journey of self-discovery. It’s not about whether you can touch your toes, it’s about what you learn on the way down.

Melinda: Zumba®
Melinda is an AFAA and Zumba® certified instructor with more than 20 years as a dancer and choreographer. Her background gives her a unique perspective on group exercise. As the mother of three teenagers, she understands the daily demands her students face. Zumba® fitness allows her to combine music and movement filling her classes, with sweat, smiles and laughter. She loves teaching Zumba® and it shows!
Meredith: Zumba®
Meredith has several passions in life, and looks to each for balance and enjoyment in her life. She is a newlywed, recently having had a "Big Fat Greek Wedding" on her husband’s native island of Cyprus. She is a special education teacher in her 4th year and loves her job and her students.
Meredith has practiced the Brazilian martial art, Capoeira, for over 5 years and balances this exercise with her newest love, Zumba®! While training Capoeira at a dance studio two years ago, Meredith came across the class. She took it once and was hooked. She became certified in July 2007 and is continuing to love every minute of it.
Michelle: Cardio/Kickboxing
Michelle has been teaching dance and cardio kickboxing in the East Valley for over 10 years at various studios and local high schools. Her movement/choreography is highly energetic and intense. Michelle is owner of Taylor'd Dancewear. She is married and has 2 little dancers. She feels fortunate to have the ability to share dance as a teacher and performer. Her motto is " Live. Love. Dance! "
Patty: Pilates, Pilates Reformer
Patty is an avid lover of the outdoors. She has walked, run, triathlon trained, played tennis, competed in swimming and diving, hiked, etc. Her nursing career and fitness training (group fitness instructor, pilates, pilates reformer, and yoga) blend seamlessly to help her empower others through education and motivation to achieve their fitness goals. Patty's personal motto says it all: Make fitness fun and make it happen every day!
Patty is one of the most positive people on the planet!
Rasoul: Morning Yoga; Yoga; Pilates, Tai Chi
Rasoul is a registered Yoga Alliance teacher and certified Pilates instructor. He has been teaching yoga for over 8 years. Rasoul is a third degree black belt in kung fu and Kuk sul won (Royal korean martial arts). He has been teaching yoga, tai chi, and martial arts throughout the Phoenix Metropolitan area in yoga studios, fitness clubs, and churches. He thoroughly enjoys teaching yoga to children and adults of all abilities. Rasoul's patient, peaceful wisdom is such a joy to behold!
Rene: Pilates, Pilates Reformer
Rene has been a classical student of pilates and dance inspired movements for nearly 2 decades and has trained with masters on both coasts. She began teaching mat pilates in 2002 and finished her comprehensive apparatus training in 2006. Rene is a certified member of the Pilates Method Alliance as well as the NSCA, AFAA and Yoga Fit. She has partnered with the PMA's Fostering Future Professionals Program and has been a mentor to instructors all over the valley as they embark on their own exploration of teaching the classical pilates technique.
Rene enjoys learning, being active and spending time with her husband and two children. She is passionate about pilates and believes it is something you do so that you can enjoy a balanced, healthy life.

Starla: Yoga & Pilates
Starla is a certified Yoga/Pilates instructor and has been teaching yoga for over 7 yrs. After trying pilates and taking many, many classes, she became hooked on the way her body responded. No more back pain, better posture and added core strength made her a believer in the pilates method. She trained and has been certified in Pilates and has been teaching since 2009. Starla is also AFAA certified in group fitness, Yogafit trained and certified and is currently working towards her 200 hr certification.
Starla's teaching style for pilates is that of graceful, controlled movements to encourage muscle lengthening and core conditioning resulting in a tight toned body.

Tamara: Yoga
Tamara has been practicing yoga since 2002. While recovering from a rare neurological syndrome, she used yoga as one of the tools to help regain her balance, coordination, and strength. Tamara is passionate about taking care of her body and wants to inspire others to do the same. She is registered as a 200-Hour Level teacher (RYT-200) through Yoga Alliance and is also a Certified Christian Yoga Teacher (CCYT). Always growing as a student herself, Tamara's teaching style is a unique blend of faith, flow, and breath.
