Marie Siegfried Marie is teaching the Energize class on Mondays at 3:30pm, Yin/Yang Flow on Thursday at 11:15am and Thank Goodness It’s Friday Yoga at Noon! Marie was one of our mentors when we did our teacher training together and we are thrilled and most grateful she is joining our family! She has been in the health and wellness industry for 26 years, specializing in therapeutic modalities, yoga strength training for athletes, Personal Training & Thai Yoga Massage. Marie’s full bio
Cindy Rogers and her seeing eye dog Piper Cindy will be teaching the Four Senses Yoga class once a month on Thursdays at 7:45pm. We are honored to have Cindy join the Joyful team and share her world with her and Piper. Yoga found Cindy in 2005 quite by accident. She thought yoga was practiced by “pretzel peace people” and this was certainly NOT for her! Throughout her first month of yoga she realized that the practice of yoga for her was life changing. Four Senses with Cindy Rogers and Piper, Thursday evenings at 7:45pm Yoga without sight…blindfolded. Practice vision from within. Experience yourself like never before! Without sight one can allow the ego to fade…let go of physical body image and cultivate greater awareness of breath. Class description Morning Flow Yoga Wednesdays with Gabe Gavin and Thursdays with Carolina Daley / 8:30 to 9:30am Link breath with movement in this graceful, energizing practice. Develop strength, flexibility, and balance through a variety of fundamental poses. Modifications are provided to enhance the experience for every student. Appropriate for beginners and seasoned practitioners. Class description Yogalates with Jenny Yingling, Thursdays / 6:30 to 7:30pm The best of yoga and pilates! A fusion of the ancient discipline of yoga with the modern pilates techniques, the exercises mix both disciplines to develop core strength, help tone muscles, increase flexibility, and reduce stress. Class description Stretch & Tone with Michelle Dulansky! Tuesday mornings at 10:00am Michelle will guide you through a combination of ballet and Pilates to help create strength and flexibility throughout the entire body. All levels are welcome. Class description Pound Fitness with Danielle O’Reilly! Friday evenings at 6:45pm Workout while you rock out! A full-body cardio jam session, combining light resistance with constant simulated drumming. Class description Yo-Soy Yoga with Maria Cocoa, Sundays / 12:30 to 1:30pm – once a month – check our schedule! A FREE Spanish class for our Latin community! Class description Energize Yoga, Mondays with Marie Siegfried and Wednesdays with Sara Gordon / 3:30pm to 4:30pm Wake up the circulatory system and boost vitality. Healing Bodies, Healing Minds with Yoga Nidra, “Yogi Sleep” on Tuesday evenings, 7:45 to 8:45pm If you haven’t been to a Yoga Nidra class this is a must! An essential way to rejuvenate your mind and body. All traces of the day fade away, time stops, and stillness washes over you. This is Yoga Nidra! Class description Healing Bodies, Healing Minds Release Yoga on Sundays at 5:30 to 6:45pm Based on the TRE or Trauma Release Exercises developed by David Berceli, PhD, this class helps you to retrain your body to energetically release the little and big traumas of life held in our muscles.
